William Franklin Davidson, a longtime Cushing resident, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2019 at his home in Cushing with his family by his side.

A family dinner will be held on 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 27, 2019.

William was born on July 20, 1958 in Wilkesboro, N.C. to Ruby Clementine Teague.  His mother raised him in North Wilkesboro, N.C. where he attended school.    After high school, he joined the U.S. Army serving his country for four years.  He began his career in plumbing and construction for many years, moving to Cushing in 1994.  William enjoyed Nascar, hunting, and fishing.  He liked hopping up race cars with his sons.  William loved spending time with his children and especially the grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife Sherry Davidson of the home, sons Zachary Davidson of Mannford, Dustin Davidson of Mannford, Alex Knox of Loveland, Co., daughter Candace Campbell and husband Josh of Tulsa, and numerous other kids that we consider "Ours", Cliffton Lazear, Joey Wise, Eli Quintiana, and Logan McKay, mother in law Mary Lyons, sisters Linda Rose and husband Brent of N.C., Doris Burke and husband Larry of N.C., Mary Wolfe and husband Dave of N.C., sisters-in-law Barbara Davidson of N.C., Terri Martin, Eileen Martin and Renna Gronlund, brother-in- law Tracy Gronlund, grandchildren Makayla Bloom, Jadie Campbell and Fuelie Campbell, numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mom Ruby Hayes, brother David Davidson and son-in-law Kevin Bloom.
