William Earl Snell Jr., passed from this life on February 16, 2023, at his home as his daughter held his hand, he peacefully breathed his last breath here and his first breath in the presence of Jesus.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing.

Willie was born on July 3, 1957 in Cushing, Oklahoma to proud parents William Sr. and Ida Alice (Duffy) Snell.  He attended Drumright Schools before going to work in the oilfield with his dad as a pumper. Willie worked his way up to Production Foreman with Guardian Energy. Willie finished his career as Production Foreman after over 30 years with Guardian Energy; where he was not only an employee, but family.  He supervised drilling and completion rigs all over Oklahoma.  He was united in marriage to Regina Alsip on January 30, 1981, in Oilton. Their union was blessed with one daughter, Heather who was "his little girl." Willie was known for his big heart, if someone needed help, he did his best to meet the need.  During 2019 Willie was diagnosed with colon cancer, he fought long and hard, finding humor at every turn, regardless of how inappropriate; but the cancer spread throughout his body.  After having a brain tumor removed in 2021; the tumor began to grow back along with two others at the end of 2022.  As the cancer progressed and his mobility decreased, he enjoyed watching TV with his daughter and western tv shows late at night.  He also greatly enjoyed his two dogs, Shilo and Coco.

He is preceded in death by his wife Regina; grandchild, Mercy Grace King; son in law Chad King; sister, Lois Ann Bartley; and his parents.
Willie is survived by his daughter, Heather King of the home; brother Louis Snell and wife Jeannie of Drumright; and many extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing.
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Drumright, Oklahoma.
