Obituary

Willliam (Bill) Feugate was born in Butler, Missouri to Reuben and Annabelle Feugate. He and his two brothers, Daniel and Ralph, grew up helping their father on the farm.

William had always wanted to see the world so, at age 17, he joined the military. He had a long 12-year career with the U.S. Navy from 1955 until his honorable discharge in 1967 with the rank of E5 Petty Officer Second Class. William served as shore patrol and deck chief on the USS Lexington (CV-16) and shore patrol and Master of Arms on the USS Coral Sea (CV-43).

He met his future wife, Ethel Lou Stinson at the movies in Oklahoma City and they were married on October 29, 1956. William enjoyed several careers throughout his life, such as, fireman, truck driver and electrician.

He and Ethel made their home in Cushing, Oklahoma where they raised their family of 5 and enjoyed a long and loving marriage of 47 years. William loved being outside tinkering on things and hunting or fishing with his brothers-in-law Paul and Harold Stinson.
