William Henry Ryan, a longtime resident of Oilton, OK, rode into Heaven March 5, 2019, at home, with Donna and his children by his side. Funeral services will be March 10, at Oilton Christ Fellowship, where he pastored for almost 50 years with passion, fervor and a heart for Jesus.  He wanted everyone he met to know the Jesus he loved.

William Ryan was born November 3, 1925, at Bay City, Michigan to the late George and Goldie Ryan. He entered the United States Navy serving in World War II, as a Fireman First Class USNR. After his honorable discharge, he met the love of his life, Donna Jean Kinnee and they were married April 2, 1948.  To this union, 6 beautiful daughters were born. He attended Anderson College in Anderson, Indiana, studying ministry.  For over 65 years in ministry, he pastored in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, and Ohio before coming to Oklahoma in 1969.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Goldie Ryan; his sister, Patricia Baumgarten Hazlip, and his son-in-law, Billy Bob Bevel.

William is survived by his faithful, loving wife, Donna, of the home, daughters Diane Krlin and husband Gary, of Melbourne, Florida.  Janice Bevel, of Oilton, Rebecca Miller and husband Bill of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Lois McBride and husband, David, of Oilton, Louise Rouintree and husband, Joe, of Jennings, and Catherine Smith and husband, Stephen, of Yale, OK.

He has 20 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 2 on the way.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Oilton.  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at the Oilton Christ Fellowship.  Pastor Reimar Schultze, longtime friend from Kokomo, IN and Pastor Gary Krlin, former pastor at OCF, officiating.  Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Oilton.   Visitation will be held on Friday, March 8, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, March 9, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at our funeral home in Oilton.  Family will be greeting friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2019.
