Robert was born on June 26, 1982 to Darlena Louise (Burrow-Baker) in Junction City, Kansas. Robert attended and graduated from Agra High School in 2001. After high school, he attended trade schools and earned certifications in Welding and Auctioneering. Robert started work in the oil field as a roughnecker, then moved to drilling. He was married in 2009 and to this union four children were born: Nathan, Donald, Jacob, and Serenity.
Robert grew up in the outdoors on the farm of his grandparents Donald and Lettye Burrow from the age of 12 into his adult life. He hunted, fished, and farmed (He was star farmer of the year in the FFA in Jr. High). He was an avid coon hunter. He placed fourth in the World Coon Hunting competition in Aurora, Kentucky and later became a judge of the competition. Robert enjoyed fishing in his free time, but preferred to go noodling for the monster catfish. He also hunted all kinds of things including deer, turkey and mushrooms for himself and his family. He was a true outdoorsman, who could live off the land.
Robert was a caring, compassionate individual. In his recent years he had started preaching the word of God in various churches, he even substituted for his pastor of the church he attended and many others he attended. He lived for his family. He worked hard, so his family could have anything they possibly needed. Robert did not go anywhere without his kids if possible and he never left his bible at home. He wanted to share his knowledge of God and the outdoors with his children and others. He had a huge heart, not only for his family, but for everyone. He would give the shirt off his back to a complete stranger.
Robert was a loving father, son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew and friend to all who knew him. He will be missed by many.
Robert was preceded in death by his sister Sharon Baker, grandfather, Donald Burrow and his uncle, Jimmy Burrow.
