Obituary

Albina Bono Walbridge, age 90 of Oilton, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 in Oilton, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held on 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 6, 2009 at the Oilton Christ Fellowship Church in Oilton. Pastor Gary Krlin and Pastor Bill Ryan will officiate. Interment will follow at the Highland Cemetery, Oilton.
Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Oilton.

Albina was born on March 1, 1918 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma to Lee and Fannie (Robertson) Womack. They moved to Oilton by covered wagon. She grew up in Oilton and graduated from Oilton High School in 1937. She married Willard Walbridge Sr. on June 1, 1942 at the Church of God in Oilton. They owned Beno Café in Oilton for a number of years where she waitressed and ran the café. She later worked for the Copper Kettle in Oilton and Dalton Precision in Cushing. Albina was a member of the Eastern Star, the Rebecca's and the WMU. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Oilton for many years. Albina started attending the Oilton Christ Fellowship in 1976, where she enjoyed many years of growing with the Lord. She enjoyed cooking and was known for her hot rolls, cherry cobbler and Christmas cake. Albina taught herself to drive in her 40's. She loved giving to others. Her husband Willard passed away on January 24, 1978. She married Chance "Bud" Menser on January 5, 1979. He preceded her in death in 2007.
Albina loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Albina is survived by her son Willard Walbridge Jr. and wife Judy of Oilton, daughter Lillian Casey and husband Lonnie of Oilton, grandchildren Brian Walbridge, Keri Walbridge, Gini Walbridge, Melissa Cochran and husband Patrick, Tammy Stokes and husband Greg, Lonna Odle, Timothy Casey and wife Ashley, Jonathan Casey, 23 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands Willard Walbridge Sr., Chance "Bud" Menser and half-brother Calbin Robertson.
